CCMEP Summer Youth Program
The Jefferson County CAC, Inc. is operating the Comprehensive Case Management Employment Program (CCMEP) Summer Youth Program .
The Summer Youth Program allows low income TANF-eligible Jefferson County youth between the ages of 14-24 to gain valuable work experience while earning a paycheck to help meet basic needs. The Jefferson County Summer Youth Program offers the opportunity for youth to develop a work history and have a current reference from an employer.
Eligible youth must reside in a TANF-eligible family. The types of persons that may be served are:
*Youth must be a Jefferson County Resident.
*Youth must be 14 years of age by June 19, 2017.
*Youth ages 14-17, as long as the youth is a minor child in a needy family and is in school (youth may be 18 if they are a full time student in a secondary school).
The intake process will take between 1-3 hours to complete. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian with them. Due to the length of time this process takes, missed appointments may not be rescheduled. Please be on time for your appointment and it is imperative that you bring all required documentation with you at time of your eligibility appointment.
* Youth ages 18-24, as long as they are in a needy family that also has a minor child; or Youth ages 18-24 that have a minor child and are considered needy. Needy Families must fall below the following income guidelines:
